Why this matters to you

Realism isn’t a style.
It’s the ceiling of tattoo technique.

Dilution. Gradient control. Depth.
Master these and every tattoo you make — in any style — gets sharper and lasts.
Learn it as your specialty, or take the technique home to your own style.

The real problem

Anyone can nail the photo. Very few can master how it ages.

Your portraits look incredible the day you post them.

A year later?

The blacks soften.
The contrast fades.
The details disappear.

Your healed work is your reputation — and your pricing.

There’s a reason Federico’s portraits still hold their depth and readability years later.
It’s built on true grey wash black ink diluted with water, not premixed grey ink, and on contrast intentionally designed to remain visible long after the tattoo has healed.

That’s not a gift.
It’s a repeatable system.

In just three days, you’ll master it.

Proof, not promises

Drag across the eye.

Every layer of grey wash has a purpose.
Federico builds tonal density gradually creating depth that survives the healing process and preserves the portrait’s realism for years.

This isn’t about making it look good fresh. It’s about making it last.

The craft, one dot at a time

Realism is precision, repeated.

Black & grey portrait realism is built dot by dot, thousands of intentional marks that create depth, form, and realism.
Keep scrolling and watch one of Federico’s portraits come to life, layer by layer, the same way it is built on the skin.

Millions of decisions. One portrait.
That level of control is what separates realism from imitation.

Yes — a certificate of completion is issued at the end of the three days.

What is the refund policy?

Plainly: if your application isn't accepted, every cent back immediately. If we cancel the Academy, every cent back. If your plans change, the deposit isn't refundable — but you can transfer your spot to another artist or roll it to the next Academy date. And if the Sept 6 balance deadline is a problem, write us before the deadline — we'll work out a plan before we ever release your spot.
